About Kata

Living in several states and countries for 17 years gave me an appreciation for setting goals and overcoming challenges.  It taught me the importance of making powerful choices that are grounded in well considered decisions and the advantage that working from different perspectives can provide when making those decisions.

I had been an attorney for several years when I had the revelation that there must be a way to use my analytical skills, insight and personal experiences to help people in a direct way on a very personal level. I studied at the Coaches Training Institute in California (accredited by the International Coach Federation) and after 18 months I became a Certified Professional Co-active Coach.  I have had the privilege to work with people as an executive coach and as a personal life coach and help them achieve incredible results on every level in their lives.

While working with leaders in organizations, it became clear to me that real change can only be achieved when a person’s development is also supported by his or her surroundings. Every story can be viewed from several perspectives, and real change comes about when all parties come to stand under the same reality through communication. I have been lucky to learn Conversational Intelligence, which is based on 30 years’ study of neuroscience to understand how conversations influence the brain. With the help of C-IQ, I am now able to help team dynamics in organizations as well as individual relationships which stand behind every success and failure. I also teach my clients basic energy exercises to support their development and desired outcomes from every angle.

Assisting adults to manage their perceptions, conversations and aspirations has also motivated me to start the process earlier and work with children. I believe that the traditional curriculum they learn at school does not prepare them for success and happiness in life. Learning self-management, emotional intelligence and conversational intelligence gives them the basics they need for a truly successful life.

I moved to Budapest, Hungary from San Francisco in 2004. I take tremendous pleasure and personal satisfaction out of helping people discover their inner strength, drive and ability to identify and overcome obstacles.
